Created for TVP Wilno, Unia Kulinarna is a vibrant television project built around food, energy, and the joy of cooking. The goal was to present the program in a fresh, colorful, and dynamic way — making the kitchen feel alive, playful, and visually engaging from the very first frame.

The visual style combines bright studio lighting, expressive wide-angle shots, detailed food close-ups, and energetic camera movement. From flames and cooking action to playful presenter moments and stylized food compositions, every shot was designed to make the program feel warm, accessible, and full of character.

As Director and Director of Photography, my focus was to create a visual identity that felt both polished and approachable — a modern culinary world where food, people, and movement come together in a lively television format.

The main challenge was to make a studio kitchen feel dynamic, cinematic, and full of life while still keeping the image clean, bright, and suitable for television. Food-based productions require careful control of lighting, composition, timing, and texture — every ingredient, plate, flame, and movement has to look intentional on camera.

The project involved a wide variety of shots, from wide presenter setups and fast camera moves to close-up cooking details, overhead food compositions, split-screen moments, and POV-style shots from inside the fridge. Each setup required a different approach to framing and lighting while maintaining one consistent visual identity.

Another challenge was balancing energy with clarity. The program needed to feel fun and fast-paced, but the food, presenters, and visual concept still had to remain readable and inviting. The final result is a colorful and energetic culinary world designed to immediately communicate the spirit of Unia Kulinarna.
