Created for Schola Ducha, a worship music group connected with the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Vilnius, this project was designed as an intimate series of live worship performances.
The visual concept focused on warmth, presence, and authenticity. Instead of cutting between multiple cameras, each song was filmed as a flowing master shot, allowing the viewer to stay close to the music and experience the performance in a natural, uninterrupted way.
Shot with a Helios 44-2 lens and filmed using Tilta float, the project embraces a soft, vintage visual character with warm highlights, expressive bokeh, and gentle camera movement. The result is a cinematic worship session that feels personal, atmospheric, and emotionally honest.

The biggest challenge was filming each song as a continuous master shot. Without relying on traditional coverage or multiple camera angles, every movement had to be carefully planned around the performers, instruments, microphones, and the emotional rhythm of the music.
Using Steadicam allowed the camera to move gently through the space, but it also required precise timing and control. The camera movement had to feel alive, yet never distract from the performance or the prayerful atmosphere of the session.
The Helios 44-2 lens gave the project its distinctive vintage softness, warm flares, and organic imperfections. At the same time, shooting with such characterful optics required careful focus work and lighting control, especially in a low-key environment built around warm practical light and shallow depth of field.
The final result is a visually cohesive series of worship performances, shaped around intimacy, movement, and the natural energy of live music.
